The plight of individuals with learning differences is never over. Even with significant support, the challenges remain throughout a lifetime. That is why the Learning disAbilities Association of Guilford County is so important.

The only means of support we have is through memberships of individuals like you. We welcome new members and, for our old friends, now is the time for annual membership renewal. Notice on the membership application form (pdf format) that there are different levels of membership. If you would like to donate more than the regular membership dues, you will be helping us expand our resources and programs as we reach out to those who need to understand learning differences.

Beyond money, we need your ideas, skills, and participation. Please consider giving whatever means of support you can to this effort. You are an important link in the chain of support locally, because many of you know first-hand the challenges of coping with a learning disability. As the education world continues to change, parents and teachers must have access to good information.
